All players must simultaneously look at the nine cards in the center of the table. As soon as a player manages to form a "rebus" word using several cards (e.g.: dé – rat – paix [to skid], cou – thé [to cost], scie – thé [to quote], etc.), he announces the word and collects these cards.

The removed cards are then replaced with cards from the draw pile (e.g. game, bed and fairy), so that there are always nine cards on the table before each round, and the game continues.

The game ends when all the cards in the draw pile have been turned over and no more combinations of "rebus" words are possible.

The winner is the player who has collected the most cards.
